Elixir of China
This elixir of China was created in 1855 by Dr.Pasquale Massagli.
It is still made from the old formula which calls for lengthy maceration of the bark of ‘Ginebona Officinalis’ with aromatic herbs and spices.
Totally devoid of colouring agents or preservatives, it maintains intact the delicate bouquet and flavours of the ingredients.
Today the China can be found easily only in the Lucca area.
