Massagli company makes in addition to the famous China Massagli another elixir Biadina, a specialty drink made by a mix of the famous China and other liqueurs and a sprinkling of pine nuts on top of the serving glass.

The name Biadina derives from the biada (fodder), which was fed to the horses when they arrived in the main piazza, the historic meeting

place (and market place too). Today the China and Biadina can be found easily only in the Lucca area, but if you need to you can contact the producer.
