CHIANTI CLASSICO WINE
Produced in the provinces of Florence and Siena, it is the most prized beverage.
With its deep yet fresh taste, it can be aged for up to 5 years (after which time it becomes Chianti Reserve).
It is made up of at least 80% of the deep colored Sangiovese grapes with a smaller percentage of Canaiolo. Chianti is one of the most renowned agricultural regions in the world, where many consortia have been formed to protect our typical products, such as wine and extra-virgin olive oil.
The Consorzio del Marchio Storico Chianti Classico, founded to protect the Chianti Wine, oversees the promotion of the Chianti Classico as well as the diffusion of the information about Chianti in general.
