The Squid
The squid lives in sandy bottoms in the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean and the North Sea .
The body is elongated with side fins and has 10 tentacles, 2 of which are covered with long and more rows of suckers.
The squid has a flavorful taste and is cooked in many variations: fried, stuffed and grilled….do not miss the version 'alla muso duro' that can be tasted in a restaurant in Capraia Island.
