These loaves are made in two forms, a round one of 1kg and an oval one of 2kg.
They vary from light to dark brown in colour, according to the cooking time.
The fragrance is intense but delicate and long lasting with more than a hint of yeast.
Today the potatoes are not used as a substitute for flour, but small quantities are added to the dough to make it particularly soft and fragrant.
