Paolo Gazzarrini, his wife and his father keep alive the tradition of pastry making started 5 generations ago. Unique flavours from mixing classic ingredients such as flour, eggs, sugar and butter with other particular ingredients. This shop has a genuine retro feeling and the variety of cakes and tarts is incredible.
Here everything is superb:..
There’s the Christmas panettone and pandoro, Easter colombe, the Schiacciata di Nonna Rina and the fantastic Mantovana. Then there are the incredible crostate (tarts) made with genuine jams, figs, oranges, and chocolate.
The speciality of Paolo are his Cantucci with the addiction of uvetta (raisons), almonds e semi di anice (aniseed).
