Roast Pork
A porchetta sandwich: roast pork served on hearty Tuscan bread, is a true delicacy.
A whole pig (yes, head included) is stuffed with garlic, rosemary and herbs and roasted on a spit. It is then sliced and served hot on crusty bread. Local farmers’ markets and street stands both sell porchetta sandwiches (a classic in the
weekly market of a Tuscan village).
